Today was my last day at school. It was sort of bitter sweet; I’m am really excited about my new job, but I’m really gonna miss the teachers and the kids (well, most of them ).

The teachers put together this beautiful card and had each of the kids sign it . Cute Stuff!

After singing “For she’s a jolly good fellow” and the Barney song, the kids took turns hugging me one by one. It was kinda like that scene in The Sound of Music when the Captain made all of the kids kiss the baroness… awkward.

Probably not the best idea to have a picture of the kids on the internet, but I don’t care, this picture is too funny (and fuzzy, so it’s fine)!

I will miss you guys <3 Ms. Colleen.

Check back next week… I start my new job on Monday!

I made Valentine’s Day decorations for the school today and went all out… red and white hearts with tiny lil pink hearts inside. SO CUTE!

I was hoping that it would take all day, but alas, it only wasted about 30 minutes of my time.

Anyway, I was really proud of my work, but all my boss ever says is, “good enough.”

Good grief, can’t a lady get a ‘you go girl’ around here?

Oh well, he could say worse…

At the end of this very busy, stressful and kiddie-filled day I was pleasantly surprised by one the kids…

She came into my office with her usual sly grin and handed me this card…

It reads as follows:

Love AnYa

On the back she drew… what appears to be her and I playing together under the sun, Which is appropriate because Anya and I spend a lot of time outside together. She is one of the children that I watch during that 30 minute dismissal time period… I probably yet at her the most out of all of them…

Anyway, she really made my day… maybe I will yell at her less tomorrow…

Wait! Maybe that was the plan behind this little token of affection… more like token of lies!!!
